Very simple FREE Help Authoring Tool. Creates CHM help file from screenshots and plain text annotations.

Installation

• Download and unzip createchmfromscreenshots.zip
• Install htmlhelp.exe
• Run createchmfromscreenshots.exe and follow the instructions.

Usage

• Create screenshots with your favorite screenshot capture tool (SnagIt or Screenshot Captor for example)
• Add screenshots using "+" button on the toolbar.
• Write some text for topics and assign keywords.
• Click "Compile CHM" button.

Helpinator 3 compatibility

This tool uses Helpinator 3 project format (*.hpz) to store project data. You can upgrade to Helpinator 3 at any time and continue your work with more advanced features of Helpinator.
